Shawn began his tech journey at a young age, building and troubleshooting computers for students and teachers across Western Washington. His passion for technology naturally drew him to problem-solving, building, and modifying systems. Early experiments in blackhat ultimately evolved into a focus on ethical, whitehat work—laying a foundation for a career dedicated to protecting, strengthening, and innovating in IT. Over the past 15+ years, he has progressed from small business projects to leading multi-million-dollar network deployments and enterprise-level support.

While his core expertise is network engineering, Shawn is a multi-disciplinary technologist, holding over 20 certifications spanning audio/video, cloud, collaboration, design, networking, security, and wireless. He has also delivered measurable business value through financial audits that eliminate waste. A perfectionist at heart, he meticulously reviews and refines infrastructure to meet the highest standards.

In 2015, Shawn founded Eugenius to help businesses and individuals eliminate IT hassles and focus on their core work. Trusted by executives, business owners, government agencies, and everyday users, he has contributed across finance, healthcare, government, ISPs, startups, Fortune 100 companies, and small to enterprise environments. Outside of IT, he is an adventure enthusiast, holding certifications as a pilot, master scuba and rescue diver, and Class A skydiver. He enjoys flying, skydiving, scuba diving, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and playing his pinball machines.

Lari brings extensive experience supporting businesses through administrative, marketing, and client services roles, working with Seattle startups, actuaries, travel agencies, and C-level executives. She met Shawn while at a local tech startup and joined Eugenius in early 2018 as Strategy & Operations Manager, later earning a promotion to Chief Operating Officer in 2025.

Since joining Eugenius, Lari has led business development initiatives, marketing campaigns, and strategic partnerships, helping executives and small business owners identify and implement the right technology solutions. She holds both a bachelor’s degree and an MBA in business, combining practical experience with advanced academic training.

A proud University of Washington graduate, Lari is also a hands-on mother of two. She enjoys exploring the muddy rivers and giving back to her community, including serving as chair of local PTA committees.

Michael has over 14 years of experience in finance, earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Central Washington University in 2010. A lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, he has established himself as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to small businesses and investment firms across the region.

Throughout his career, Michael has guided businesses through complex tax regulations, led successful company sales in industries ranging from media to healthcare, and supported capital raises for investment firms. These experiences have positioned him as a steady, pragmatic force in an often-volatile financial landscape.

Known for his measured approach and unwavering integrity, Michael combines technical expertise with a strong commitment to client relationships. He believes that understanding each client’s unique needs is essential to crafting sound financial strategies and achieving long-term success. Outside the office, he is a devoted husband and father who enjoys family travel and golfing, embracing both challenge and relaxation.

KC brings over 20 years of expertise in cloud infrastructure, AI systems, and enterprise architecture. With a strong foundation in software engineering and DevOps, he guides the company’s technology vision—ensuring innovation is seamlessly aligned with infrastructure and business strategy.

He has led mission-critical initiatives across genomics, healthcare, and enterprise technology, with a focus on automation, cloud transformation, and data-driven platforms. His technical expertise spans AWS, Azure, GCP, Infrastructure as Code, and modern AI/ML systems, including generative AI deployment and scientific workflow orchestration. Earlier in his career, KC contributed to core engineering efforts on enterprise operating systems and early IPv6 automation.

Outside the enterprise, KC is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of engineers as Head Robotics Coach at a local high school. His leadership blends deep technical insight with strategic foresight—turning complexity into secure, scalable, and intelligent systems.

Mike’s journey into structured cabling began during the golden era of music videos, when he played a key role in a nationwide rollout installing monitors and supporting cabling systems in over 500 retail locations across the U.S. His work helped bring multimedia experiences to the forefront of retail environments.

Building on that foundation, Mike transitioned into the network cabling space, taking on both commercial and residential installations. He was hands-on during the industry’s pivotal shift from coaxial and Token Ring technologies to the high-performance demands of modern network and fiber optic cabling. In 1999, he founded his own successful cabling business, which he led until joining Eugenius to expand their network cabling solutions for both new developments and legacy infrastructures.

Outside of work, Mike is an avid outdoorsman and devoted fisherman. He finds both peace and purpose exploring the rivers and lakes of the beautiful Pacific Northwest, a region he is proud to call home.

Carie plays a vital role supporting the team wherever she is needed most. Her versatility allows her to manage a wide range of responsibilities, from client relations and project coordination to hardware logistics and custom requests. With a can-do attitude and keen attention to detail, she ensures projects run smoothly and clients receive exceptional service.

A natural problem-solver and organizer, Carie anticipates needs and delivers results that keep operations running efficiently. She works closely with clients and team members, coordinating timelines and ensuring even complex projects are completed on time and to the highest standard. Her adaptability and proactive approach make her a trusted partner across the organization.

Outside of work, Carie enjoys exploring new hobbies and discovering creative solutions in her personal life. Known for her reliability, resourcefulness, and dedication, she thrives on tackling challenges, supporting colleagues, and helping Eugenius succeed.
